DR ZOYA AWAN

Dr Zoya graduated from medical school with distinctions having come top of her year in numerous years across the board. Her numerous national awards and prizes include an award in dermatology and anatomy. She has gone on to win the coveted Jean Shanks Pathology Grant in which she pursued research in keloid scarring. Having pursued academic medicine alongside clinical medicine by securing a place in the competitive AFP programme, she undertook her research at the University of Birmingham’s Institute of Inflammation and Ageing and has published and presented her work on national and international platforms. Now undergoing specialised training in pathology with a sub-specialty interest in dermatopathology, Dr Zoya combines her expertise and experience to lead the clinic with medical grade treatments that have a scientific and evidence-based backing.
