Potential Side Effects of HydraFacial:
The most common side effect is redness, primarily among sensitive skin types.
Initial use of HydraFacial may lead to a temporary breakout, as it deeply decongests and brings impurities to the surface. Individuals with active rashes or skin conditions may experience flare-ups, and there is a slight possibility of an allergic reaction to specific serum ingredients, particularly if you have a shellfish or aspirin allergy. This is why our specialists conduct a thorough medical evaluation and, if necessary, a patch test.

Aftercare for HydraFacial:
Refrain from using actives such as vitamin A-based creams and acids for at least 48 hours before and after treatment.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for the next 24 hours. Apply SPF30 or higher every two hours during daylight hours, even if you’re indoors, to protect your skin. Avoid lasers, IPL treatments, and chemical peels for two weeks before and after HydraFacial. Toxins, fillers, and skin boosters can be administered immediately after a HydraFacial, but if you are receiving injectables first, allow at least one week.
Who is Not Suitable for HydraFacial:
HydraFacial is not recommended for pregnant women.
Individuals with active skin conditions should consult their therapist for suitability. It is a highly effective treatment for mild to moderate acne, but those with severe, active nodular-cystic acne may not be eligible. The same applies to individuals with active rashes on the treatable areas or open sores and lesions, such as those caused by eczema or the herpes virus cold sores.
