The Science Behind Neck Rejuvenation:
Botulinum toxin type A, commonly referred to as Botox, is a purified neurotoxin sourced from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum.

Once injected, Botox temporarily relaxes the targeted muscle.

This relaxation allows the uplifting, tightening, and overall enhancement of the neck muscles, providing a refreshed appearance. While there is currently no known method for reversing Botox, the body naturally breaks down the toxin over several months, permitting gradual muscle movement to return.

During this session, our doctor conducts a facial analysis, evaluates your medical history, and explores your personal expectations.
The actual treatment involves the precise administration of controlled Botox doses, delivered intramuscularly using a microneedle. Although the procedure is generally not painful, you may experience slight tenderness and redness in the treated area, which can last up to 72 hours. Some individuals may notice a headache, typically resolving within 48 hours. Bruising at injection points, if it occurs, is usually minimal. However, its severity can vary among individuals. To minimise this risk, we perform a thorough medical evaluation beforehand and recommend limiting alcohol intake for 48 hours before and after the procedure to support recovery.
Neck Rejuvenation Results:
Results typically become apparent within 4-10 days after the procedure. If the desired outcome is not achieved within 14 days, additional treatment may be recommended.
On average, results last between 3 to 6 months. During the initial stages of treatment, you may notice some muscle movement returning after 1 month, which is entirely normal. The duration of this return varies from person to person and may necessitate adjustments in future Botox doses. Over several years of consistent treatment, your muscles become “re-trained,” often requiring less frequent top-ups.
Caring for Your Rejuvenated Neck:
To optimise your neck rejuvenation results and minimise potential complications, we recommend adhering to the following aftercare guidelines:
– Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for 12 hours, including any facials.
– Refrain from engaging in strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
– Stay away from extensive sun exposure and heat, including hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms, for 48 hours.
– Avoid alcohol consumption for 24 hours.
Furthermore, it’s advisable to wait at least 7 days before pursuing any chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion procedures.
