The Science Behind Our Profile Balancing Treatment:
At Secret Aesthetics, we use premium-grade, highest-strength prescription-only hyaluronic acid (HA).
HA is a polysaccharide glycosaminoglycan found in almost every cell, predominantly concentrated within the extracellular matrix of the skin. Working alongside elastin and collagen in the extracellular matrix, HA plays a key role in skin rejuvenation, moisture retention, and laxity. In the gel form used for clinical-grade skin injections, HA combines with water and swells, making it an effective ‘dermal filler’ for facial volume augmentation, correcting volume loss, addressing wrinkles, and sculpting facial contours. Our HA fillers are naturally extracted and stabilised using fermenting bacteria. Different companies offer HA in various densities, stabilities, molecular sizes, and concentrations, resulting in varying hydrophilic potential, allowing for variable longevity and moldability, making certain reconstitutions more suitable for specific procedures than others.
Please note that we do not use or recommend calcium hydroxylapatite-based or poly L-lactic acid-based dermal fillers or permanent fillers, as these cannot be reversed.

Side Effects of Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty:
Immediately after having profile balancing fillers, you may experience itching, redness, tenderness, and swelling in the treated area, which can last up to 72 hours.
Swelling can vary from person to person and may persist for up to 2 weeks in certain cases.
Bruising can develop at injection points, although usually minimal and variable. Some individuals are naturally more prone to bruising and may take longer to heal. We conduct a thorough medical evaluation beforehand to reduce the risk, and we also advise limiting alcohol intake for 48 hours before and after the procedure to aid in recovery.

The results of our profile balancing fillers are immediately visible, and they can last on average 6-12 months.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally broken down by the body over time, and the rate of breakdown can vary based on an individual’s genetic makeup.
Profile Balancing Filler Aftercare:
To ensure optimal results and a smooth recovery from profile balancing fillers, we recommend the following aftercare steps:
- Refrain from touching or rubbing the treated areas for 12 hours.
- Avoid applying makeup for 12 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
- Steer clear of direct sun exposure and heat, such as hot showers, saunas, or steam rooms, for 72 hours.
- Swelling is variable from person to person but is common and may last several days before the final result becomes visible. Applying a cold compress to the area can help alleviate swelling.
